The Hotchkis gallery is pleased to present Melanie Florio.  Hosted by Labriola|Hotchkis of Mercer Vine, the work of California painter Melanie Florio will be celebrated during two opening receptions:

Melanie began painting at age 16 under the instruction of Lela Harty and continued her education at the Laguna College of Art and Design (LCAD) where she specialized in drawing and painting and received her MFA in 2007.  Melanie’s work celebrates modern life through a nostalgic lens that offers an open-ended and subtle narrative.  

“I want my work to capture the everyday iconography of us.”

Melanie resides in Los Angeles, California with her husband and dogs, enjoying her career as an artist and teacher.
