What better way to beat the summer heat than with a sweet treat?

This Sunday, July 16th, a new food festival series launches in Downtown Los Angeles’ hippest ‘hood, the Arts District (#DTLA #MoveToDTLA). Presented by Smorgasburg LA, Ice Cream Alley will take over the ROW DTLA every Sunday from 10a – 4pm, starting this weekend and going through Labor Day. Ice Cream Alley brings together all of LA’s best ice cream and sweet treat purveyors in one place:

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams

Nancy Silverton’s Nancy’s Fancy

Salt & Straw

Sweet Rose Creamery

Add to that Smorgasburg standards like:

Wanderlust Creamery

Donut Friend

Paloma’s Paletas

… and you’ve got a can’t-fail recipe for revelry.

Smorgasburg is the largest weekly open-air food market in America, attracting more than 20,000 – 30,000 people to its hometown Brooklyn, New York each weekend to eat, drink, and be merry. Smorgasburg expanded into LA last year and has since achieved a lot of Angeleno admiration. Each Sunday, urbane urbanites can find dozens of exciting food and sophisticated shopping vendors from the realms of design, craft, style, vintage, wellness and more. Arts and culture events, pop-ups, and other weekly surprises transform the site into a new node in DTLA’s burgeoning scene.

Free 2-hour parking is available at the ROW DTLA. No pets allowed, sorry.

See you there!
